Palácio de Xabregas
The Xabregas Palace is a magnificent historic building located in the Beato parish, in the eastern area of Lisbon. Its construction dates back to the 16th century when it was built as a noble residence for the Portuguese royal family, featuring an architectural style that combines Renaissance and Baroque elements.
The palace’s façade is majestic, with an imposing tower, arched windows, and stone ornaments that denote the splendor of the era. Inside, the palace boasts magnificent ballrooms, grand staircases, frescoes, and paintings, as well as furniture and art objects from different historical periods.
Currently, Xabregas Palace is an important cultural center in Lisbon, hosting art exhibitions, musical and theatrical events, and serving as a space for lectures and conferences for those interested in history and culture.
