Palácio Marquês de Fronteira
Considered one of the finest examples of 17th-century palatial architecture in Portugal, it was commissioned by the 1st Marquis of Fronteira, D. João de Mascarenhas, in the third quarter of the 17th century. The Palace boasts a remarkable wealth of tilework, particularly evident in the Dutch Panels Room, the Gallery of Arts, and the Battle Room, where painted tiles depict the history of the 1st Marquis of Fronteira, a hero of the Restoration War.
The Palace and its equally magnificent gardens are classified as a National Monument and can be hired for events.
An exclusive event space of Casa do Marquês.
